Tenzing Norgay
National Adventure Award

At the age of 20, I received the prestigious Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award from The President of India, for achieving an incredible feat that no one else in the world had accomplished. I had swum in 10 different seas, defying the odds and pushing my limits as an open-water swimmer. The award is conferred to only one individual out of a population of 1.2 billion people who has excelled in the field of water adventure. This recognition was a humbling reminder of my passion and dedication to the sport, and it further fuelled my desire to continue pursuing my dreams.
